very violent thunder and awful fork lightening here near Edinburgh..just had power restored

I love storms (as long as everyone is safe) I find them thrilling.

It is here in Angus too....lots and lots of lightning but fortunately no power cuts as yet.

Same in Dundee murraymints. It was quite a spectacular sight and luckily no power cut. Some kind souls have put quite amazing photos on FB. Skies cleared and sun shining now. Have a good day.

Huge storm in Manchester last night too, it was quite spectacular, huge flashes lighting up the sky! No loss of power though thankfully! I was watching it for ages until the rain got so heavy I had to shut the door else I'd have been soaked.
