Why did I get logged out of AB. I had to sign in again, couldn't remember my password so had to go through the palava of sorting a new one. Why does this happen?

Hi Caran, I have the same problem with several of the sites I go to. I'm not logged out on most of them, so when it comes to the point that they ask me to sign in I have to start all over again. I can't remember passwords some I have written down but I've sometimes changed them again since.
Hi Caran I bought a hardback book from Poundland with A to Z tabs. For each of the websites I visit, I write down in the book the log in details - it really helps as I'm sure I would forget!
You get logged out if
(a) you've wiped cookies from your browser ;
(b) a program on your computer has wiped your cookies for you ;
(c) your cookies file has become corrupted ;
(d) a time-limited AB cookie has expired ;
(e) your cookies are OK but AB's server isn't correctly recognising them ; or
(f) AB's techies are simply playing silly b's!
buen = you should be running the whole site JjCon

Chris, none of that applies, I was on last night ok. Came on tonight and had to re register.
Was that before or after the large gin ?
Yes, it happens to me.
I agree with Buenchico.
You av a leedle book beside your computer and tel
and it has all the passwords - all different for the sites needed
I don't understand why you need to write the passwords down in a book, why not use a free password manager like LastPass or just create a document file for them?

I have been logged out several times have all my passwords in a book
The worst one for passwords is Amazon they never recognise my password and we have to start again, my latest password contains "fed up with you lot"
I did similar Dee Sa with a company who tried to charge me for a parcel the courier lost - it's daft but gives me a smile.
