The Beast Of Dartmoor

It seems that there is now no doubt that there is a large cat loose on Dartmoor. Here is a picture of the cat and it looks pretty big to me.

It would be nice if we humans could co-exist with such animals, they would avoid us but we would keep out of their way and not kill them just because we can.

I suppose the only way it will be proven is if someone catches one of them and I wouldn`t like that to happen. When my dad came face to face with one, my Mum phoned and said "Don`t you tell anyone because we don`t want the Journal (local newspaper) on the doorstep but your father came face to face with one of those big cats today down at "B-----hills and we don`t want so and so going down their with their shotgun"

thank you for pointing out my incorrect description woofgang - I was making a point and forgot that on AB one needs to be precise or the word police sign on for duty. Will try and do better in future.
