Is it acceptable for a non witness to give a baptism gift when a witness gets baptised, and if it is what is appropriate?
Many thanks for any input.

I thought they didn't "do" gifts?
I can't do links, but Google JW baptism gifts and there are suggestions. Apparently, ironically, nothing religious such as crosses or religious pictures etc.
Thanks Bathsheba.
no probs Margo ;)

JWs think of themselves as Christians but don't think Christ was God, so things like crosses are pointless to them.
No crosses? There went my suggestion for a baptism gift then . . .
