Cut Self Treatment

I rapped my knuckle and cut it but not too badly. Just annoying when it splits every time i bend my finger because it is right on the joint. I had a plaster on which helped.
Is there any reason I cant just superglue this myself?

Lord knows, Quoi...but when MrG did things like that...which was frequent... he would put a couple of coats of my clear nail varnish on it....

He was miffed when I changed to wearing pillar box red.....☺

There's Superglue and there's medical grade superglue - different ingredient within.


I'd probably do it , no walk in centre nearby?

Which "Suoerglue" are you talking about?
Household Superglue or Surgical Superglue?
If it is the former...NO.....but if it is the latter....YES.

The laceration will take longer to heal as it is over a joint and what you have been doing is just fine.

For minor things like this, I use Elastoplast Spray Plaster...a small (32ml) aerosol. Quick squirt, dries in seconds, stops the bleeding.
