Oh brilliant - the acrylic gobstobber is gone - a much better feel with the new chromium - only thing bit difficult in getting them out and in but that will come with time - a hell of a difference - worth every penny. I feel so good - that gobstopper in my mouth was making me ill and gagging and bloody awful - Hurray for me today. Also no more bloody pink gooey glue - Thank you lovely dentist - did I say that LOL??
Anybody else terrified of dentist please go even if you borrow the money if you can pay private - you pay for what you get.
Just got them out with a bit of difficulty to get them cleaned them- getting them out ws a wee bit easy but getting them gagged me a bit - must say a a great improvement since yesterday - no when some time down the line they'll slip in and out.
Just for anybopdy's interest (terrible keuyboard|) -[dentist has noticed my hygiene has imporved both with the floss sticks but I think electric toothbrush has done the trick.
My friend jokingly looked at them yesterday and saw a (my own natural bottom and said oh Conne that's dirty looking (mercury filling) - do you think I should get my head round to get a while filling or shall I leave myself alone for a while.
I already have a couple of partial detures, but have got one painful + one loose tooth, bottom front. Have got appointment on Tuesday.
I've always had weak teeth, so I'm well used to going to the dentist + luckily I'm not scared!
Oh no - what I have done - I am never used to being up at this time - but I got over-confident with the new dentures and ate a bit of soft toffee last night. Later on I noticed one of the wrap around wires sticking out a bit towards my lip and of course I have done a terrible thing I took them out this morning and tried to "squeeze" them with the result I have "banjacked" the lot and can't get them in at all. Luckily I have fallen back on the old teeth to get me through the weekend and will give the dentist a call on Monday. Imagine eating bloody toffee with dentures - it is so difficult to remember my mouth is now no longer the same.
Now I can't believe what I am saying is should I have gone for the bridges - with 4 teeth drilled and crowned over my own teeth. Is that more money - but these bridges never come out - dont get me wrong I knew all about this but didn't want to weaken my own teeth. Me and teeth do not get along. I thought I would never see a dentist for the next 20 years.
this post didnt seem to get through - i will try again
