Following on from the question about Mick Jagger being knighted (News catagory), who do you think should be knighted and who should not have been?

I'm not sure that a knighthood is an appropriate recognition for a cultural icon. Nothing against Mick Jagger, I'm a big fan, but I don't see that his contribution to the country in general, as opposed to rock and roll in particular, merits the same award as a surgeon or businessman. Maybe a separate honour should be created for this area of recognition - but you still wouldn't get Keef bending the knee and smiling!
