How can I stop the adverts which appear as the first emaiI in the Iist in my inbox? Have tried cIicking on OPT OUT/OPT IN but neither stops them. Driving me mad as is the new format for emaiIs from BT YAHOO.

not a techie lankeela - but could you download adblockplus - www.adbloc.plus - run it and hopefully should do the trick for you - it did for me.

I have normal yahoo and there is always an ad at the top of each folder list in the ipad app.

I have that too, Lankeeler. Adbolcok plus doesn't seem to get rid of it.

I no longer use AdBlock. As well as being resource hungry it takes money off advertisers to let their adverts through.

I fink UBlock much better. https://www.ublock.org/

I don't think there is a way to stop an Advert that is being sent in the form of an e/mail. Adblock will Not stop it and I would think that the same would be the case with UBlock.

The answer to question is no !

It annoys me as well lankeela but there doesn't seem to anything we can do about it.

We have discussed this before. Adblock or anything like it will not stop this.

There is another addon imaginatively called yahoo mail hide ad panel which will see those off.
