hi i have norton antivirus on my lap top but its still letting in two threats first downloader.t and also adware.bullseye, norton say they are a threat but gives me no option to delete or even contain, are they a threat to my laptop, and how do i get these off my computer, can anyone sudgest better protection for the future, many thanx

Can't help with your problem, but when you get a chance, drop norton and go for AVG http://www.freedownloadhq.com/avg.asp?s=gouk&a=avg

I had the same problem with Norton in that it let something through and wouldn't solve it but I changed to AVG and have NEVER had a problem with that.

using the search tab at the bottom left of this page, type norton. and see just how many experts rate Norton as completly useless and unreliable.

Uninstall it from the add/remove programs. do a c:/ search for norton/symantec and delete those remaining files. then use AVG or Avast. Both are free and alot safer and reliable.
