.....lots of blisses......

I left the garden centre with a cart load of plants having spent most of my £100 gift......to hear the sound of.....

Vulcan!

Flying low over the garden centre car park......trolleys abandoned, cameras out and lots of waving....

I phoned a couple of friends to say it was heading their way but.....it turned and went into what I was told was a holding pattern....above our heads.....what would I know....

But I do know that it circled us....tipping its wings....for about ten minutes....

Happy drive through the countryside to home......where I found I had been undercharged by £10 for my plants....so that means.....

Another trip to the garden centre to pay up....and buy more plants....

Now if Stephen Fry turns up for dinner tonight my day will have been more than perfect......☺

wing walking ?
Question Author
Anne....I had planned to wing walk when I sold my house.....but I think this would be more fun...x
Nearest I got to it, was going with my Mum for a trip in a 4 seater Piper aircraft for her 90th birthday, flying right over her house and other parts of Leicestershire including the beautiful Vale of Belvoir and Rutland Water. She absolutely loved it and we keep lovely memories as she sadly passed away 3 months later. I also went in a Red Arrows simulator at an airshow - that was exciting!
Flying with the Blades? I say if you can afford it Gness - go for it girl! x
No Red Arrows sighting tonight :( saw on Twitter they delayed departure from Brize Norton due to bad weather so not sure what they doing now - staying there or home later or tomorrow.
