what type of computer work can I do at home that is trustworthy

Actually I have left a career as a Traffic Manager in the shipping industry which entailed creating packing slips with weights, shipping doc's and a lot of data entry. That is my skill and if I knew of how to contact an honest company to assist with data entry I would be very happy. I am disabled due to a broken ankle that turned into serious bone infection and almost a lose of my foot along with a complete hip replacement on the opposite side of my body. So doing computer work at home would be great and something I really enjoy doing. Any suggestions to that please.

There are Elance jobs in data entry-most are trustworthy, need to make sure account is funded (escrow) and it takes some kind to get jobs.

Totally naive answers on here! 99.99% of "online jobs" are scams. Never send money to anyone who promises you work!

That's because 99% of jobs are emailed to you or on Craigslist or Gumtree. They don't take a cut of profits so don't care if it's a scam. Elance uses escrow funding to prevent people being unpaid-and the "client" does not access your account. Toptal which has the top 10% of IT freelancers must have something similar. If it didn't, it just wouldn't have a reputation for good service.
