The eurovision post below, reminded me of this. Why is it that we enter nobodies for the eurovision?

We have world famous bands like Westlife or Take That who could probably win it for us.

So why enter nobodies?

Last timeI l looked,Westlife were irish.

Why does anyone care about Eurovision ? Its always baffled me and this coming from a guy who was around during the eurovision 'glory days'.

The whole thing is corrupt with the UK having no chance as for some reason this rubbish is used to promote political ideals.

why do we enter nobodies? because the bbc want to make really sure they don't get stuck with the cost of staging the next one.
