When Is The Best Time To Get Soffits, Gutters And Fascia Work Done?
7 Answers
Within this past two weeks we've called three separate (seemingly well known and reputable) building companies to have someone come round to give us a quote for work that needs doing. (Replacing the lot: all gutters, soffits and fascias). NONE of them have called us back. Is there a better time of year than now to start making calls for quotes? I'm thinking that maybe now they're all booked up and can't be bothered to call us back since they don't need the work at the moment? Any ideas? Thanks for any tips.

Their busy period can alter but normally between April - September, the good and reputable companies are really busy with work.

Weather they are busy or not, it rude and not businesslike for them not to raven reply with a courtesy call.
I had a similar experience myself recently, rang 3 fencing places before 1 called me back.
They say there is a recession on so why is it so difficult so get anyone to do a bit of work for you?

Well the guy who was meant to come wonked my husband about with TEXTS (not even a phone call!) and then never came. Honestly, how do you find a good one... And how unprofessional to use texting as a form communication for a business where you never even met the person you're meant to be getting some money from!
