Spam In A Can - What's The Secret?
26 Answers
I have recently rediscovered my fondness for Spam - the meat variety (although some may disagree), not the dodgy e-mails. However, after twice nearly giving myself a hernia or popping out my eyeballs, I again have failed to squeeze the damned substance out of its metal shell.
Does anyone have a foolproof (or, at least, mostly successful) way of getting Spam out of the can in one solid block that I can slice and grill?

That spam looked as if it had been half cooked after hot water was poured over it inside the can.
How many of you knew that Spam is a luxury item in South Korea. They have a recipe called Army Base Stew which uses Spam and Frankfurters as well as other ingredients.
Apparently they were starving during the Korean War and used to beg for food around the US army bases.
They made this stew which is a National favourite to this day. That is why the tin in the youtube clip probably had Korean writing on it.
Not a lot of people knew that. :-)
