I've never had any problems with o2,in fact the signal seems to be on full signal almost permanantly!!

Thanks v.much!

Dont switch! i just switched from 02 to orange and its so much better. The signal is more or less the same to be honest with you but Orange offer a much better service. For example, if you ever need to ring up customer service with 02 you only ever get to speak to a machine whereas with orange you speak to a person (and the call is cheaper!). You also get better deals such as Orange Wednesday - buy 1 get one free cinema tickets. In my opinion you should stick with Orange

I found orange a nightmare when I needed a replacement phone. Never had any probs with O2 and reception is 100%

You can check the O2 coverage for specific areas here:

PS: I've always been happy with Vodafone.

I agree with sammyrobo. dont switch!

I was with O2 (previously genie) for about 6 years and when i changed to a new contract they messed it up big time. my bills went from 20 to 200 and they wouldnt credit. Emails and calls are all automated and when i finally got to speak to a person (about 2 months later) who promised to check and amend my bill each month she managed to one month and then 2 days later cut my phone off. They did this 2 days after i paid every month for 3 months. Each time is was cut off it took 3 days to get connected and i was 6 months pregnant at the time and travelling 60 miles a day.

It was too much when they tried to take me to court. That took a further 4 months (by which time i had got out of contract and gone with Orange) before they dropped the court case.

I lost all faith in them after the first time they disconnected my phone and will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I have tried vodafone, 02 and Orange. I would say Orange was the absolute worst ( I was living between 2 houses and had no reception at either, had to go outside everytime I wanted to make a phone call!)

and there's nothing much to choose between the other 2, both have excellent coverage

I was with orange for years and the reception was'nt the best, switched to o2 last year and cannot fault the reception I get now.I suppose it depends on the area you live in.
I was on O2 and went to Vodafone. Spending less per month on my tarrif but getting shed loads more. Bill has zipped down from well well over 100 to approx 50!
PS - I know about 4 people who are with orange and all 4 do not get receptions in their homes. My poor aunty has to almost stand on one foot in a certain area of her living room kind of thing to get a reception. Although I can speak personally.
I'm with 02 and just wanted to say that you can speak to a person instead of a machine you call 100 from the handset and listen to the options its either 1 or 2! 100% reception almost everywhere and where i work it is the only network that you can get! no complaints and have been with them 8 years!
dont switch! we went from orange to o2 and have had nothing but problems with bolt ons not going on, overcharging us twice and basically getting 4 phone bills and we have only been on for 2 months, i am looking forward to the expiration of the o2 account so i can go back to orange!
Wouldn't switch from O2 for anything. Reception brilliant wherever I've been at home or abroad. Pay as you go is great - they keep giving me the odd fiver every couple of months or so because I put on 20 at a time. No probs at all. We used Orange at work and didn't find it quite as accomodationg !!!
