I have been asked by my friend to scout around for a cheap deal for her to travel from Liverpool - London by train.

Truth is I haven't a clue where to start looking :-( I have never had the need to book a train!

Can someone push me in the right direction please.

is better still. Value tickets are what you want is available

We booked for the whole family to go to London a year ago. If you go on line for Virgin Trains and can book at least 2 weeks in advance, you get absolute bargains. We got M/cr to London for 10 each way per person!!

Each journey you select comes up with various prices and lets you know when cheap seats are available. Each journey is allocated a set amount of cheap seats. You travel in the same compartment as everyone else who have paid a lot more!!

Good Luck.

P.S. You can also have your tickets delivered or collect from the station.
