It's Pride Weekend, and it's going to be fantastic.

Preston Park (the big park on the left as you drive into town from the north) looks amazing. The main stage has been up for days.

The weather should be okay. The main parade through the town should be the best ever.

One of our gay pals has got us some tickets for the gay girls' all nighter, which is always the absolute best party of the year.

If you have nothing to do tomorrow ... seriously! come down to Brighton. It is going to be awesome. Just ... get the train ... don't even TRY to drive into the town. And if you do get the train, come out of the station, walk straight down the hill in front of you towards the sea, and turn left when you get to the sea front at the bottom.

If you miss it, you can't say I didn't try to tell you.

Love,
JJ

JJ.........I hope you enjoy yourself, although I am not sure the Save the Seagull !
sounds like fun, birmingham pride is good but i bet brighton does it with bells on!
Have a good time, JJ.....if I do make it down I'll be the one with the seagull poop in my hair.......♥

You will get very wet. :0)
Yep
I'll be supporting Fuller's London Pride in my local tomorrow. :-)
Help the environment eat a seagull per day

As an alternative, it also provides a very good reason not to go anywhere near Brighton this weekend!
Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
I do like to be beside the sea!
I do like to swan along the Prom, Prom, Prom!
Where the boys and girls are gay:
"Tiddely-om-pom-pom!" :)
I don't understand this Gay Pride thing. It seems to be something that promotes the very stereotyping that Gay people try hard to distance themselves from.
Have the banned the smoking on the beach yet? That could be my deciding factor.
Chic
Strange isn't it. I am hetrosexual and don't feel particular pride in that fact so I just conduct my day to day business as normal.
Mamy I'm sure there will be plenty of fags on the beach this weekend ;-)
chic
Lol. :-)
arf!
Odd!

The weather looks reasonable enough

but they've cancelled the dog show due to poor weather!
http://www.brighton-pride.org/pride_dog_show.php
(It can't be due to a lack of gay dogs though because every dog I've ever known has seemed to be happy enough to hump anything that moves!).

£25 to get into Preston Park seems a bit steep to me. If I could get to Brighton this weekend I'd simply head for the wonderful (and frequently outrageous) Queen's Arms ;-)
