Local Dingbat Quiz

After receiving some super help last week on a different quiz, I'd thought I'd try again!
All help very much appreciated.
"Find the familiar word, phrase or saying"
1. Four compass points N E S W as always, but with the N and S having small arrows pointed toward them.
2. "WORLD" written in small letters. Small World or It's a small world?
3. ! EMIT
4. "NORFOLK" in big bold letters. Initially thought it might be something like Norfolk Broad, but the letters don't seem overly broad, might just be being picky.
5. "Tomtom" above "wedges"

3. Back in time / Overtime, both I contemplated but was confused as to why the exclamation mark is there
5. I was so concentrating on tomtom being navigation I didn't even think of drums! I don't understand the sticks or brakes suggestions though.
