MP3 /CD /Radio for bedroom
I am looking to buy a MP3 /CD /Radio for the bedroom.
I need it to be small as possible yet powerful but cheap.
Has anyone purchased one of these systems recently?

Not necessarily a terrible idea as you could mount the speakers in the bed headboard and the Radio/CD/MP3 in a wall or a piece of bedroom furniture. You would just need a 12v mains adapter to power it. The cheap portable units you can get from electrical chain stores are poor in quality and, if you actually want music, a waste. Once you get up to the Bose wave radio/CD then the quality is reasonable. For real music quality visit a Linn Hi-Fi dealer. Linn have a number of items within their range which are installed 'hidden' and operated by a wall-mounted control unit. At this level of quality you won't want to be suffering the nasty compressed sound of MP3, though.
