You're sitting on a packed bus, and a very unstable old man, and very pregnant tired-looking Young woman board.

You stand up to offer your seat (because you have been brought up well!) - to whom do you offer your seat?

The correct answer is, of course, you should make no hasty decisions on serious issues like this. You should wait, pondering the best option, until you reach your stop.

Some very good answers - and I agree with those who said 'the old fella'.

When I asked this question to a colleague, he replied, "I'd give my seat to the old man - he can't help being old, but it's the pregnant girl's fault that she's knocked up".

Nice...
of course this dilemma could never apply to an AB-er.

either you'll be a successful professional and never go near a bus.

or you'll be (like me) just as old and doddery as the old fella above.

:-)
I would just stand up and let them sort it out between themselves.
gness still hasn't got over being offered a seat by a young lady ...
What's a bus?
