I've checked him out in the past. He considers that the world is on the verge of collapse and goes to great lengths to illustrate the veracity of biblical prophecy. He is preying on the vulnerable – and with his best-selling books is making rather a good living out of it.

altho it passes us by there is a feeling in some southern churches that the end of times are nigh - that you can read all about it in the book of the apocalypse - and that before that there will be signs, rapture and tribulation ( all with technical meaning )

there was a millenarial movement in 1659 - at the end of the Commonwealth [Holy Rollers] but I run out of steam well before the 21st C. Not a big thing here in the UK
