Laminate Floor

Anyone give me an idea how much I should pay to have average priced laminate laid in a room 4' x 4' The floor is level and has one door and patio doors.

Assuming that you mean 4m by 4m, then this page (dated Nov 2012) suggests between £8 to £12 per square metre, so (taking the middle of that range) giving an estimate for a fitting cost of around £160:

"Our local laminate supplier fits for £10 a square meter. You may also need some beading for the edges if you are not fitting it under the skirting board, or a filler for the edges. You may also need strips for the doorways"

So, allowing for the 'extras', perhaps a rough budget figure of around £200 in total (plus, of course, the cost of the flooring itself) might be about right?
