Any Ideas

My lovely friend (originally from here) has arrived from Australia today but tomorrow on a trip to Lisdoonvarnagh (wrong spelling) - she 's back on Thursday. Members of the family are having a birthday party for her next Saturday - (surprise) - any ideas without her having to carry back weight. thanks./

I stopped for a seafood chowder in Lisdoonvarna. It was very nice.

I take it Jenny's friend just popped to Lisdoon for a day out. Not sure why Lisdoon would come into the present ideas.

The Christy Moore song of course isn't really about the town but about the music festival that used to be held there.
Maybe not a good idea given what happened to the festival eventually :-)

she is in lisdoon for 4 days until Thursday -home that day. Then they are having a Surprise birthday party on Saturday night in a local club. This is what I mean she doesn't get to breathe (methinks anyway).

It will be either silk scarf, teapot/cup, or there is a place down from where I live and they carve the name of the street she lived in before leaving for Australia. She can hang that in her kitchen in Australia and that would be a nice reminder of home.

Gness for that matter I wasnt too stuck on Lisdoonvarna myself but I wouldn't say that to her. Looking forward to seeing her on Thursday. Thanks everybody for your ideas.
