Depends on how much you fancy eating teflon coating. It's thought to be inert, so should just pass through you. Or, you could spread a piece of foil on the tray and put stuff on that.

Teflon beaks down, obviously, after not too long a time after being exposed to constant heating cooling. Some people think that it protects like a coat of armor: it's more like a very thick Burberry:)
when ot happens to me I always line the tray with tin foil then its okay to use.
Another tip ....the rolls of tin foil in Lidl & Aldi is a lot thicker [ its like catering foil] than the stuff sold in English supermarkets and the same price.
