Thought I was organised for my trip away tomorrow
Clothes needed, washed and dried
Library books changed
Milk and papers cancelled
Railcard up to date
Rubbish out
Bath and hair wash accomplished
Went to get food out of freezer for dinner
Aargh!
Freezer gone do lally tap
Three drawers coated in ice, unmoveable
Now desperately trying to defrost
Probably need to chuck most of the contents
Dare not open the fridge part above the freezer to get some food in case I have to chuck that also
Next time I'll not try to be organised, just panic at the last minute

In mine sometimes one of the drawers sticks slightly, stopping the door completely sealing.

The only time we didn't forget to do something or pack something was when we left our house in Germany with 15 minutes notice after my Dad died, when we make serious plans something always gets forgotten. The freezer seal may be kaput, our is I think, we have similar problems.

when my freezer gets iced up and drawers wont open I use a hair dryer to speed up the thawing process.
