Anyone got any of the predicted thunder yet? It`s raining steadily here with a solid sky but I don`t think we have had a rumble yet.

Looks like I`ll have a grotty journey http://www.raintoday.co.uk/
Tyneside, brilliant sunshine. Not a hint of bad weather.
Lol Zacs....probably if I go to my uncles pub. Although children have to vacate the premises by 5pm.

No children allowed in his other pub.
Its ok here nerar Clacton. No bad weather at all, in fact we are still waiting for some rain, havent had any for weeks now. We miss it every time. The lawn is the colour of straw and the pond level keeps going down and down.
.
Peeing down and thunder and lightening here in London.
The sun's started to break through the clouds now...
Like Mamya I keep an eye on lightningmaps.org, although bear in mind it only records strikes to ground, not cloud to cloud. It looks pretty quiet now, the storm that passed through Brighton, Ashford and Margate seeming to have fizzled out off the coast. Can’t see anything else on the mainland.
Mind you, at about 9am in Macclesfield it looked vaguely threatening towards the south, but we’ve had nothing, just cloud cover. Having said that, we still have storms forecast for about 8pm.
Over cast but otherwise OK in this bit of N.Notts
The storm is now out over the North Sea beyond the Thames estuary, but there's another currently over north-east France.

We had a few rumbles this morning in SE Hampshire coast.
We had it here this morning, it was like Singapore in the monsoon. It cooled down but is getting hot and sticky again so I guess more on the way.
Still not seeing anything over the UK, but a very big storm is just invading the borders of Belgium. While the lightning display on the website can be misleading, it’s useful for tracking direction, and everything seems to be working NE towards the Netherlands with not much behind it. Watching the BBC news this morning they were showing a belt of storms heading directly north from the Channel, so whether they’re predicting a change of heading or if that heading has unexpectedly changed I don’t know. For now it looks pretty quiet, although it’s sticky in Macc and supposed to start raining in about 10 minutes with storms later.
I’m hoping it does kick off here. A couple of months ago we had a beautiful cloud storm and I wanted to video it but was too busy working.
