...over here in the Toronto area: thirty-nine degrees at present. It's been like this for a few days and will continue for a few more. Reminds me of some older movies: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof; Some Like it Hot; and The Towering Inferno. Some of the public pools in the city are going to remain open until midnight. Anyway, if you'd like to buy a few degrees just send me your bank details.

Time to get out the tutu again stuey.
Can I pay it forward and hold onto to a few nice 10C days to send you in February?
no Vulcan -I see Stuey in a checked muscle T shirt with cut off wranglers ;-)

String vest, short shorts, and sandals with socks weather for me. Retro, check out my little history of Ansonia on the "Toy" thread from yesterday.

Damn! I've just sent them to a very nice Nigerian gentleman (who has promised to make me rich) and he specifically asked that I don't pass them on to anyone else until he's paid in my fortune!
Stuey -yes I read that yesterday - its a beautiful clock you have -are you keeping it or selling it on?
Oh so it's you who's nicked our summer!

Chris, as soon as I receive your check, I'll send you some heat as well as making you rich. Sincerely, Abu Warrilow.

Well I don't care what others might say, Stuey. I think that you look great like that!

On the literate side of The Pond, we call them 'cheques', Stuey ;-)

Darnation, I forgot to mention the famous knotted hankie.

OK, mate.
I was thinking of escaping somewhere to wind down, but thirty nine degrees is bit too hot. I remember those sweaty Southern belle pictures stuey, they always made me feel hot and tired.
Too hot for me stuey, but a few degrees would suffice.

My bank details are in the post.
