After morphing into a couch potato within a month of retiring with copious amounts of chocolate and vodka, something had to be done.
So I now make myself go swimming once a week and twice a week I walk laps around my local park for a hour.
So what exercise do you do??
I walk around the block each day and do a bit of gardening at weekends. I really must push myself to go a bit further - thanks for the nudge Sharon. As of tomorrow I'm going to walk at least twice the distance!
I do 3-5 miles every morning. I did 20 miles for a charity I June. I've done marathons, half marathons, zumba, circuit training. I HAVE to exercise otherwise I'd be Mrs Blobby.
I also used to do BOKWA twice a week for 3 months. Certainly makes you sweat and lose weight but OMG, it's soooooooo boring. Much more fun to eat cakes and tubs of ice cream. If you don't know what BOKWA is, then have a look at the online videos. It's fast fast fast and I'm, well...not!
