Whether it's pension, pension credits, or tax codes, what retro said, stands.
When it comes to pensions, it can seem the more you pay in/save the less you get out.
I'm not even saying that it should be different. Possibly a good debate to be had on a new thread.

Svejk....I can assure you that I am not guilty of confusing pedantry with the hard FACTS.
Retirement Pension paid by the Government is NOT affected by whatever income a person receives from any source. This can also include income from continuing to work and receiving a salary.
I think that you are confusing additional allowances on top of the retirement pension eg pension credits which are based on income and not paid as a right, as is the Retirement Pension.
If you take the trouble to read the leaflets published by the government,which are easily found on the web,all will be revealed to you.
Being "corrie jucked" as my surname indicates does not apply to my genes. My concerns in continuing this is to better inform ABers so they don't believe erroneous information put on this site.
