What can I say to her?
One of my good friends is very unconfident and very bodyconience. When I talk to her on the Internet she's very depressing. She wants a job, I even got her a job offer where I work, but she couldn't be bothered, as she'd rather watch tv. She has no drive. It upsets me because I try my hardest to help her, but she just ignores it. She needs to get confident and see that you can actually live life, without watching it on a tv screen. What can I tell her or do to help her. And don't say "get a new friend" Because thats not helping me or her.
Thanks for this, because it brings me down. Because I used to be like her about a year ago, but I completely changed my life round without realising. And my friend always comes to me with every complaint, every sad moment. And then I have no-one who takes me seriously like that to talk to.
Thanks to everyone who writes back

Your friend has to find it within herself- just like you did. If she like to read, I would look for an inspirational book to get her motivated. My personal favorite is titled "Life Without Limits" by Lucinda Bassett. My boyfriend introduced this book to me. Its Non-fiction. I love it, and it's an easy read.
Thanks nursecarla and dancealot, I might even give that book a go myself, it might make me even better than I feel right now.
It just seems stupid. I know Me and her are both teenagers, and I know there's supposed to be loads of emotion going around our head at that time, so they say. But surely not all the time. And They're right about it going really fast, so why can't teenagers like her get off their bums see there is more to life and actually do something with their own. (But then again, this from a girl talking about her and her friends emotionally problems on a problem)
