Buster is our local Brewer, based in Brecon. Our Branch of CAMRA had a very interesting and boozy tour at his place 3 years. Recommend his beers to anybody !

My pal had a spaniel called Buster - he died.

Micro breweries are certainly on the up, mikey.

Reported as advertising, can't see any other reason for it!

LOL, good lad Chris.
I've reported Baldric for the blatant advertising of dog-ownership...Nice dog, though.
A local micro-brewer sits next to me at the bar. Quite often he brings in free samples for me. His name is Phil. One of my bests friends is a guy by the name of Phil.

We have the Swansea Beer Festival this weekend, although I won't be able to attend as I am working.

The main reason I put this thread on here in the first place, is to demonstrate the rise in popularity of real ale and small micro breweries.

What a pity that not everybody was able to understand that.
That Phil sounds like a good pal, stuey.
Is that a heads up on that as to the beer?
When he brings me samples, he is actually breaking the law. It' against the law in Ontario to bring beer, liquor, or wine into a bar. Even if you've just bought a case of beer at the beer store, you can't have it sit next to you whilst you drop in for a pint or two. And no, they won't store it behind the bar for you either.
not much has changed since 1980 when I was a postgrad then, stuey......
But you were in Quebec weren't you DTC? They are much more liberal there than in Ontario. By the way, each Province has it's own liquor laws, and they vary rather a lot.
went down to 'tario a few times - and more recently, a lot of time spent in ttwa......
OK, so you saw the difference. Still can't buy alcohol in supermarkets and corner stores here.
in my time, you couldn't even fart sitting down......in either Province.

Nah, you had to be sitting down to get a drink in both.....
And they'd shoot you if you wandered around with a drink in your hand. It's a lot more relaxed now. Anyway, I'm off across the field (I hope that Phil shows up)...Cheers.
Have a good few and remember to drop a couple.....

Then it's a shame your OP reads like an Advert!
