Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. Not looking too bad out at the moment. I hope it stays fine, I'm at the Berkeley Show today. RAFA man the gates, issuing tickets and relieving the public of their hard earned...or ill-gotten. So will be away earlyish.

Just watching the weather. Wet and windy. I know some people that are like that. :o}

Oh well. Can't do anything about the weather.

That's not in our remit minty. We do the gates and that's it. Mind you, the gates are busy all day. People still turn up late afternoon.

like our Highland Show..a huge 4 day event !

Yes it is. I have never been to it, but friends have. They say it's well worth the visit.

huge affair..attracts international crowds..usually a royal attends

and it normally rains ...part of it anyway ! end of festival fireworks tonight another grand affair around the castle...hope it stays fine for that

the tourists pay so much to attend the festival it would be a pity if the weather turned

Same here. It's not a cheap event. A lot of work goes into such events and it's a shame to see it all done for nothing. Since Vera left the world one has been rained off and two were wet but not enough to call it off. This is the fourth one.
