The Apprentice
Well then, what do you think of the choice of Michelle and Ruth in the final two?
When I knew two were going I was expecting Paul and Michelle to go. I wasn't in the slightest bit surprised Paul came across like he did in the interviews. I liked Ansell and thought he did well and in the end was hoping he would pip Ruth to be in the top two. Michelle comes across as nice, but I still don't think she's strong enough personality wise.

The interviewers were very hard. I liked the property guy, i thought he was top notch.
I think Michelle will win, but in essence I think the candidates have been poor this year, and she would be the best of a bad bunch. She comes across as unimaginably bland though.
I don't think any of them are outstanding but I'd prefer Michelle to win over (in my opinion) the totally unlikeable Ruth. I agree with curiosity, I'd switch off after her first sentence too. I think it was one of the interviewers who said she'd burn herself out & I've known people like her & that's exactly what they did.
I know she seems bland but there's plenty of time for Michelle to blossom personality wise.
I've only ever seen 10 mins of this show before watching last night's episode where I concluded that Paul came across as a complete dithering cocky idiot, Michelle seemed like she deserved it more than the others but knows exactly what she is doing and has her own agenda (that's not a bad thing), Ansell seemed like a decent bloke and would be good to learn and to further himself, and I cannot bear Ruth, she is aggressive, rude, and doesn't seem to try to communicate well at all and I find it soooooo hard to believe anything that was written in her CV.
*sigh*
Am feeling better now i got that off my chest....
Paul's comment about Big Issue sellers sounded like someone trying (and failing) to be funny in an observational humour way.
I too think Michelle will now win as Ruth has irritated Sir Alan quite a bit.
Is it just me or is Ruth a little reminiscent of 24's Lynn McGill, a competent worker, unable to get along with others?
I adore this series, just like the last. Never seen the yank version, and I don't really want to. Not a great fan of Alan Sugar per se, but, just like Gordon Ramsay, he has a magnetic pull, and is very compulsive viewing!
I've made mistakes all the way with my choices. I must adnmit to loving Syed, even though he came across as a prat. I believe cream had risen to the top, as all those eliminated were poor, but last night bought a tear to the old eye.
Like many, i thought Ruth and Ansell would be a shoe-in, but how wriong I was. Never fooled by Paul, he just flatters to deceive, very arrogant ******** indeed!
However, Michelle was my surpirse, she really impressed Alan, and most of the viewers as well. Big mistake in choosing Ruth over Ansell, when he gave a superb reason/answer for staying and she just went through the stock motions.
At least it makes my choice for the final easier. i would have wanted Ansell, but now it's Michelle, deffo!
Sorry, that's the kiss of death for her then!
