It depends where it is and how deep it is. Usually see some improvement after 6 to 10 weeks but some scars never fade.

Agree with Ethel on how deep it is and the area. I have a scar on my back from an op called Z-plasty which was done 15 months ago and it's still very visable (and numb).

I have a very large scar on my back which is very visiable I have not bothered with this one as its too hard to reach but i have another scar on my stomach and i used Bio Oil and you can hardly see it now this only took a couple of months.
