Had Tora repeated your post, I would have advised that I carefully started my post with ‘I suggest …’ with the express intention of taking any notion that I am speaking on his behalf in any way out of the equation. I would not presume to speak someone else’s mind, although obviously we have only our opinions posted on here on which to build a small picture of each of us as a whole person.
Tora, I am pleased that we have managed to reach a consensus. I can always appreciate anyone finding difficulty in adjusting to social changes with which they are not initially comfortable, even if they are unable to articulate their unease at the time.
In my view, everyone should be entitled to assimilate changes in the world around them at their own pace – it prevents a position of outright hostility and inability to accept progress.
