Hello, I am trying to insert page numbers on a document and get the following

Instead of: 1 of 2

I get this: { PAGE \*MERGEFORMAT}

Any ideas how to fix

Using Word 2007

Is that printed, or just on the screen ?
No expert but I'm wondering if a view option is set to show the codes.

I think that you can do it via headers/filtered. Is this the way you are doing it?
