Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Does anyone know how long the prize cheque usually takes to arrive for the Sunday express £1000 general knowledge crossword as I was listed as the winner for the week of July 24th but as of yet have not heard anything so was curious to know if this was the normal time span.

Thank you! Yes feeling very, very lucky and also relieved to hear it can take several weeks as I was beginning to think knowing my usual luck there was someone else with the same name as me in the same town who was the actual winner and I'd got my hopes up for nothing.

I was runner up in the Skeleton Crossword in the Sunday Express at the beginning of June and so far nothing has arrived have emailed them and had no reply not very impressed really.

Seems obvious - but have you tried contacting them just in case the cheque was lost in the post?

My grandaughter won a skeleton crossword prize with the Sunday Express
at the beginning of July and only received her cheque yesterday.!!

I also won £1000 in the Sunday Express GK and the cheque arrived 2 weeks later!

I knew a friend who won £25 ages ago and it took him forever to receive his winnings. He phoned and e mailed them several times and almost gave up - so you just have to be very patient. I dont know why they treat their readers like that! - time they were quicker off the mark with their prize monies! All the best Monica K. Hants
