Smear test

I havent had a smear test is there any need to worry cos iam

Hannah, what are you worried about,.is it the actual procedure? If so, its really nothing to worry about. If anything its very slightly uncomfortable but saying that, the last one i had done, i didn't even feel.You just have to relax, and they insert a spectrum which they will more than likely warm up and then scrape like a lollipop stick inside. It doesn't hurt honestly!! Try NOT to get worked up about it because you will tense up and then it would be more uncomfortable. If you are worried because you've not had one and are concerned you've left it too long, please don't be. I hadn't had one for 9 years, very silly i know, but peace of mind when its done. Do try and have them regularly though. The chances of anything being wrong are very remote and sometimes when they get in touch its still nothing to worry about, just better to be safe than sorry. For the 5 minutes of slight embarrasment, you have 3 years piece of mind, go and book in with a female nurse, you don't have to see a Dr. How old are you Hannah beeek as one of the things they say is once you start having sex you should get one every 3 years.
