Insulting his fellow Republicans, just shows how inept and desperate he really is. If this daft man still leads the Republicans, then its a sure win for the Democrats in 2018.

Sadly he may well achieve his aim because of the money he is able to throw at his campaign. I have to say I think you are being very nice to just refer to him as 'daft'!!
Mally...AB protocol does not allow me to use the real words I would like !
I too think he is a buffoon. God help us all if ever he has his finger on the nuclear button.
This is why the Republicans lost last time...they seem to be incapable of putting up a candidate who isn't a swivel-eyed loon. Even by America's standards, he is remarkable !
Last time it was the magic underpants man.....this time it could be Trump !
Still plenty of fun factor 50 available here it would seem !

He didn't seem to be making a fool of himself judging by the reaction from the vast audience that was packed into that Dallas sports arena.

AOG - "He didn't seem to be making a fool of himself judging by the reaction from the vast audience that was packed into that Dallas sports arena."
People who take the trouble to attend such addresses personally do not necessarily represent the voting public as a whole - or even the Republican voting public.
If you are going to pay money for a ticket, find a baby sitter, drive to the event, park your car, go in and sit down and listen to Mr Trump speak, it is unlikely to be because you think he is a buffoon. That position will be adopted by the infinitely larger populace who sit at home and yell abuse at their televisions from the comfort of their own front rooms.
These turn-outs represent a level of support - that does not equate with suitability to run a country.

He is competing against other Republicans for the nomination, so this is effectively a fight amongst themselves. In politics, the bruiser sometimes wins, and Trump is playing that part. It does run the risk of upsettting more voters than he attracts, we shall have to wait and see who the Republicans choose.

Corbyn got large attendances on his campaign trail and he went on to win by a huge landslide. Large gatherings of devotees does not make Corbyn a good nomination for Prime Minister, or Trump a good choice to run for President.

Nuclear button?..... oh please don't make me think of that possibility. Damnation must now rush to supermarket to stock up on tinned and dried goods ..... I think the cellar will hold sufficient for a few years .... not being the type of person required to take her place in the important peoples bunker!!!!!!
Polls dont seem to agree with you Mickey.
One of your problems is that you are so blinkered with your ultra left wing views you appear to not be able to see other have a different view to you.
Would I want Trump as President? No, certainly not. But I can see where he is attracting attention in addressing 'the public'. Politics here and in the US is moving from professional politicians, eg Farage and Corbyn popularity.
He is not desperate at all (and he is certainly not daft - see you could not resist some name calling), he simply reads his supporters. As Gromit says, whether or not that translates into votes from middle America is another matter.

YMB...defending the Polls now are we ! It seems like only the other day, that you were crowing that the Polls in the British Election didn't tell the truth.
Make your mind up !
Trump has already succeeded in alienating the huge Hispanic vote in the States and now his unguarded and offensive remarks about women have made him a fool in front of a live audience.
What next ? Mom and Apple Pie ?
