I am after some info about Nottingham. I am travelling up to Nottingham on Friday with my friend to view some properties.
Which in your opinion is the best area of Nottingham? bearing in mind my friend loves shopping and does not want to be so isolated.

I have also heard that Nottingham is rather hilly. The areas she has selected so far are, Bulwell, Hucknall, Sneinton, Radford and Strelley.

As I said, your thoughts much appreciated. Sharon

Beeston, Bramcote, Chilwell, Woollaton are all nice areas 3 or 4 miles from Nottingham. We have trams going into Nottingham from Hucknall and recently opened Beeston.

Thanks Roslyn, back to the map we go.
Add West Bridgford and The Park to that list.

If you find a property that looks interesting, enter its postcode here:

Then look at the crime statistics. (The pie chart doesn't really tell you much; it's the bit underneath that shows you whether specific categories of crime are above, or below, average).
The supermarkets nearby can also give you a clue about the area. (Waitrose tend not to put their stores in rougher areas!).
