Please try not to worry, your baby is so well protected in the womb and will almost certainly be fine. Whilst pregnant with my last baby I fell down some steps onto my bump at 30 weeks, my son was fine - even weighed 10 pounds!! But if you are really worried you should talk to your midwife to reassure you and put your mind at rest. Love and light - Amara xx
laura, i'm sure your bump will be absolutely fine. they are made of tough stuff and it takes a bit more than the odd knock to cause any damage, they are surrounded by lots of protective fluid, however if you are still worried, get in touch with your midwife and she will put your mind at ease.It is worth it for your peace of mind. Congratulations and Good luck!

Hi laura,

Baby will be fine, with a lovely caring mum like you, don't worry, I was a Baby once and now i'm 6ft tall, Babies are really strong and they are very well protected in there little cocoon, Take care, Ray xx

I'm sure you baby will be fine, laura. My sister fell through the shed roof when she was eight months gone (don't ask!), and everything was fine. Take care xxx
My mum was almost impaled by falling on a metal bar sticking out of the ground. She broke a few ribs, not to mention the wound itself. Oh, and yes, she was 7 months pregnant at the time. Two months later I had a beautiful healthy baby sister.

It is incredible how safe the womb is. So please dont worry. And if you need extra reassurance just see your midwife.

All the best to you.
