/// This has led to British families inundating charities with offers to house incoming Syrian refugees, a move also taken up by politicians such as Labour MP Yvette Cooper and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, as well as celebrities such as Bob Geldof. ///
It will be interesting to see how these 'refugees' settle in with their celebrity hosts, I wonder how many Cameron will be taking in at no 10 and Chequers?
/// Mrs May also revealed today the Government’s newly-appointed Minister for Syrian Refugees, Watford MP Richard Harrington, would be holding a meeting with charities and aid organisations over the coming weeks over how best to harness the British people’s desire to help. ///
Don't you think it would have been a better idea to short all this out, before the arrival of these 'immigrants'?
/// Earlier this week, Mr Cameron visited refugee camps in both Jordan and Syria from where he ordered Britons to offer a “warm welcome” to those people the UK would be taking from such camps. ///
So you have now been 'ORDERED' so don't forget it, offer them a warm welcome won't you?

Social housing needs (whiners own their own homes and have no worries about being bumped down the waiting list)
Health needs (whiners go private medically wise)
Education needs (whiners pay for private education)
After a few are settled will they all summon the rest of their families and claim the right for them to settle here under human rights legislation? - they never seem to have small families - so any influx will be quadrupled or more within 2 or 3 years.
Will they all be checked to see if there are any potential terrorists / harmful elements sneaking in under the guise of immigration?
If the Syrian and other conflicts are sorted out, will they voluntarily go back?
From what I have seen all the bleeding hearts are all being taken for suckers but they will all continue to sit around singing peaceful songs and holding candlelit vigils - about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

AOG,
There were plenty of other links to Cameron's statement that I could have linked to. I posted the Daily Mail one because it is a source that YOU trust (I don't).
I'm sure if I had posted from the BBC, Channel 4 News or Daily Mirror, you would have just dismissed it as left wing bias. The Mail does not say Cameron has ordered us, and it is not left wing.

Tamborine is quite correct. We received two 13 yr. old, Muslims in school (a Bradford Comp.) who came from North Africa. The rest of the (mainly Pakistani in origin) Muslims made their lives a misery. Staff had to be constantly vigilant.
I also would like to know if I have been 'Ordered' to do something, I don't take kindly to that sort of thing. I will willingly house an ex-serviceman/woman for a few weeks until s/he can get established.
The 'celebs' who have offered have all got staff and the room to deal with the refugees.
