not sure if this is the right place for this but ........everytime i click on anything on answerbank a square pops up saying ...
message from webpage wth the word false under that
are you sure you want to leave this page
then an arrow leave this page
another arrow stay on this page

the problem is when i click on it it takes ages to get rid of it, i can't continue until it's gone .please be gentle with me as im a bit thick where computers are concerned x

Not having that problem myself Mallyh, though your problem may allow me to answer some crossword questions first ;-).

Most AB techie people would suggest you have a "nasty" in your computor.

Run Malwarebytes and see what it finds.

That usually comes up on Facebook mallya. I've never had it on here.

Maybe close all browsers and restart ?

I've only seen similar when trying to close an aggressive advertising webpage. Makes me very suspicious of it.

thanks for your replies it's been happening for the last week.i turn the computer off every night but it pops up as soon as i go on answerbank .no trouble on other sites xx
