Am trying to Skype my wife who is in Oz at the moment. Everything was OK yesterday but no joy today. She says that it is indicating I am not on line but as per this question obviously am. When I tried calling just nothing happening though for a brief moment it did try to call them but no joy. Help
Skype dips in and out - you just have to be patient with it.
If you are getting conflicting messages - a quick text confirming 'gremlins' and agreeing a day and time to try again usually takes the disappointment out of failed contacts.
My daughter has just come back from Australia and we found the connections rubbish. We found it best if we were using either FaceTime & Skype on audio only. It always seemed that the broadband was overloaded which it probably was due to the time difference.
My sister also lives in Oz and my wife Skype's her daughter every week and have never had any problem. Like everything else in this "modern" world hit or miss.
