This is a huge crisis for Europe and could lead to a break up of the EU (good thing!).
Europe cannot continue to be the dumping ground for displaced people from all over the world.
I saw on the news yesterday protests in Germany about the incoming refugees (from "ordinary" people not "far right" groups).
Merkel has been quiet lately after her "let them all in" comments a few weeks ago.

So some European countries have been told to accept a share of the 160,000 migrants?
Since we already have 558,000 migrants who came to Britain last year, plus the 20,000 Cameron has already promised to bring here, making that a combined total of 578,000, which makes the whole of Europe's 160,000 seem like a drop in the ocean (pardon the pun)

It's a real big problem and Merkel could well rue the day she opened her North and South.
Ordinary Rainbows are starting to realise that putting immigrants into countries like Hungary is a pointless exercise, they will simply up sticks and move to the Fatherland at the first opportunity, ie a EU passport. No borders means that will be very easy.

Allowing 160,000 people we know nothing about to move into Europe is a receipe for disaster from a security point of view and also health. This will only encourage others to come from far and wide. "Opting out" means nothing as far as the UK goes. Once these people receive the necessary paperwork, they can travel anywhere. ISIS and other terrorist factions must be loving it.
