Yogi Berra Has Died

One of the great originals of American sport has died aged 90. Apart from his name being the inspiration for Yogi Bear (although a court case came to the conclusion that the similarity of the names was just coincidental), he is most known for providing memorable quotes such as:-

You can observe a lot by just watching.

You better cut the pizza in four pieces because I'm not hungry enough to eat six.

He died on September 22, 2015, the same day as his Major League Baseball debut 69 years before.

One of his quotes was "Baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical".

Truly a great baseball Catcher and a humorous guy.

He did launch a court case over the use of the name 'Yogi Bear' but withdrew it because it was deemed to be coincidental. So I doubt that he ever had any payment for a similarity of name.
