Hiya, NoM, it's def going on my regular list. Poor Ginge had to go and lie down he'd eaten so much :-)
It's lovely with scallops and pea puree :)

They had some lovely looking belly pork packs in Costco, I knew I should have bought one..
I have some scallops in the freezer. I was going to do scallops, black pudding and cauliflower puree.
I've never been to Costco but my cousin has a card.
I planned on Moroccan slow roasted pork with stuffed peppers and cous cous. However, I ended up doing a rather long shift at work . After many calls of 'when are you finishing', 'have you finished yet' (err, no as you called me AT work), so MrAC bailed me out and made a rather tasty curry for my return. He made it from scratch, he said. In that case, I wish the neighbours would stop dumping Pataks sauces in our bin
Scallops, black pudding and cauliflower purée is one of my all-time favourite starters

Ummmm, if you get chance, go with your cousin. With your love of feeding people you'll be in your element.
At least he made it Always, and you enjoyed it. I'd let him off....;)

Himself always chooses black pud as a starter if its on the menu NoM, doesn't matter how it's done.
Do you like the roe? I love it. I want to try and make it into roe powder...
No, I don't eat the roe :(

But scallops and belly pork makes great surf 'n' turf.
Ethandron, I didn't try black pudding until I was an adult as I didn't like the look of it.
You should try it. It's really nice :-)
I'm not a fan of black pudding. Not because of what it is, just don't really like it, same as sausages and bacon. It's on my 'only eat if you're starving' list.
A few crackers with cheese. Reason, we were booked to sing to inaugurate a flower festival at 7.30 and you don't want a full tummy when singing - besides, there was a buffet afterwards and we got it free. Called 'Singing for your Supper!' it was a decent buffet as well (with wine).
Scallops and bacon are a match made in Heaven Ummmm.
