Tooth whitening

I'm really tempted to get my teeth bleached/lasered. Has anyone had this done and, if so, did you have any problems with sensitivity/anything else? Thanks!

There was a definite improvement, but not Hollywood white. I also had gumshields made to wear NiteWhite, which is great. I suffered quite a lot of sensitivity and some gum erosion through the Zoom treatment, and it's expensive. Go for NiteWhite first (at home custom made trays) and see how you get on. x
You need to be careful with some of those home kits as they can ruin your tooth enamel. I'm not sure about the whitening toothpastes but I did used to use Rembrandt which did start helping but its about 8 a tube and it doesn't last long. Plus it contains peroxide so you can't get it on your clothes either.
I paid 450 for my Zoom, which I think is faily cheap. Ther's other methods (Power White or something) that cost about 600 +.
To get your trays made, you go to a dentist and have impressions doen. It costs about 30 depending on your dentist. NiteWhite is about 70 (or more?) for three syringes and they last for ages. I'm still on my first pack a year on. Nitewhite contains stuff to protect from sensitivity, and I've never had any problems unless I used it 3 or 4 days in a row.
I've never tried the Crest strips - are they easy to use?
