How long do you take to ask a question or make a comment on AB, a few minutes or 3 hours? Do you think about it a lot, or just hammer away on the keyboard?

I thought about this question for 5 minutes and felt it needed asking.

Don't ask many questions,that isn't a boast just a fact.

Some answers are dashed off at speed and others given the consideration they deserve depending on the topic.
Virtually the same as Mamya. Unless it's for a crossword, I hesitate for a long time before asking a question.

I think a lot about sad subjects like refugees, it's a pity others don't do the same.
I am spontaneous! I am a right now person, and then I think about it.

So do others, look in the news section.
I hammer away without thinking (and occasionally regretted it). No point in taking 3 hours, by then the question will have been answered, gone wildly off topic or been pulled.

The last time I answered something on here, a yellow band appeared and the question disappeared. Was that because I didn't answer quick enough?
The first question I ever posted here had been in my mind for several decades before I finally got round to asking it!

Otherwise, my (fairly rare) questions tend to be in CB and, before posting, I'll ask my myself whether I'll have enough time to 'feed' the thread for a while. (I hate it when someone starts a potentially interesting thread in CB and then doesn't acknowledge any responses).

Most of my answers are in sections such as 'Technology', where an answer is either right or wrong. So, if I know an answer, there's no reason for me to delay posting it.
I don't ask questions because there's nothing I don't know, and I don't answer questions because I don't know nothing.
I note, Stuey, that your most recent question was on the subject of 'vice'.

Now that's something that we really thought you already knew everything about ;-)
Chris, jokingly I was showing that picture to various people, and one guy actually thought that was the correct way to use a clamp-on vise (vice)!
I've been on here over five years....and have never asked a single question.
I usually forget what im on about if I think for any length of time, so for every question/answer I post I've probably typed about 10 and given up half way through them
