just read about being 'asexual' on the People and Places topic and was just wondering if this is a true, scientifically proven state of being? Just curious coz I've never heard of it before...

I'm not a member myself, but each to his own and I hope the people find comfort in the group.

I know what asexual means refering to plants and what not...they have both male and female abilities and do not require another organism to reproduce. But what is this about asexual people? Im at work and can't look it up :(

that's what I thought too, about plants and stuff. Apparently it's someone who has no interest in sex or does not experience sexual attraction.
Isn't that a coma?

Well I've never read about that, but that doesn't seem possible. Buddhists , 'Preists' and 'nuns' declare their celebecy, but that doesn't mean they loose the desire. I think they just have control over their thoughts and feelings. People that have no desire for sex have just lost their libido ;)

Man I hope that never happens to me!

Probably just forgot the space,a sexual, see!!
